PSI Rubber Steel Flange Gaskets
Gasket according to DIN 2690, ANSI and for plastic flanges on request.
Available for ND 15 up to 1200 (up to ND 2000 on request)

Installation Instruction
PSI Rubber Steel Chevron Seal adjustable
allows the two chevron-shaped parts to be turned against each other up to an angle of approx. 8°. After installation, these two parts form a “medium-tight“ bond.
Rubber steel gasket with vulcanised steel ring for safe centring and perfect sealing according to DIN EN 1514-1 (PN6-40).

- Flanges must be clean, dry and aligned in parallel before work starts.
- The gasket must not be damaged.
- Separating agents or lubricants containing grease should not come into contact with the rubber gasket.
- Tighten the screws evenly (crosswise) in multiple passes.
- The pipeline must be prevented from settling by the use of appropriate supporting material, otherwise the rubber gasket will be pinched on one side.
- Rubber/steel gaskets should not be used more than once.

Simply and highly economic
No wedge disks and additional seals
The PSI Chevron Seal Type WD replaces, simply and very economically, the steel or cast iron wedge disks frequently
used so far. These heavy wedge disks, elaborately installed, even require two additional gaskets.
The result:
inexact assembly and higher costs. Complicated handling of these metal elements in tight spaces produces uncertainty
during the installation and increases the risk of leaks.
Simple application for obliquely positioned flanges
Oblique positions sometimes occur with flange connections.
Especially underground pipes with regulating wedges and flanges, e.g. for hydrants and fittings, cannot always be routed in a straight line
